FSOA administrates and manages charitable entities,  charitable trusts, and family or private foundations.

We help charities become more successful by creating more money for the charity and helping the charity improve its operations.  Through our work with The American Foundation™, a 501 (c)(3) public charity that creates family foundations to disburse funds to other charities, we can help your charity grow.

We also assist charities in their investment policy (and investments).  Investments are made by Investment Advisors of America, an SEC registered investment advisor and specialist in high-yield fixed income investments which are ideally suited for charitable investments (earning in excess of 14% annually over  the last five years).

FSOA was founded by Ben Schaub.  Mr. Schaub  has pioneered a number of innovations in the charitable marketplace since he first entered this field.  . Consulting with individual, family and corporate donors, Ben Schaub is a champion of philanthropy, charitable enhancement and charitable reform.  Since receiving his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University Law School in 1976, he has implemented numerous unique charitable planning concepts and techniques that have revolutionized the growth and development of both corporate and family foundations

In 1977, he originated what has today become the well known planning concept called “wealth replacement” that protects the families and heirs of donors by replacing the value gifted to charity with an equal amount of tax-free life insurance. At one time, Mr. Schaub had received more favorable IRS Private Letter Rulings on specialized gift plans than anyone else west of the Mississippi.

Mr. Schaub has established hundreds of individual and corporate foundations, as well as The American Foundation™, The World Foundation™, and the Interstate Community Foundation.

He is the innovator of creating family and corporate foundations in the more tax-advantageous public charity format.

He also developed an investment method that was first designed to be used with charitable funds since it produced safe high-yields from secured fixed investments. This methodology which is patent pending has been made available to individual investors.

Mr. Schaub’s most recent charitable innovation is the patent pending CRT Split Advantage™, a new charitable remainder trust design that will become the standard in the industry. This simple, yet effective design allows the donor to receive more tax-advantaged income than from a traditional CRT.

Mr. Schaub is the President of Foundation Services of America, a charitable administrative company that manages various charities. He is also a Principal with Investment Advisors of America.

Investment Advisors of America specializes in high yielding fixed investments that have averaged in excess of 14% annually over the last five years.
